outlook

i opened my heart and looked in

there wasn’t much to actually see inside there

but something caught my eye outside

and as I looked at the world though the window of my heart

i was amazed at how beautiful it looked

looking through this lense

it all seemed less bad

and I could see ‘the best’ easier

it was not people being idiots

instead I could see people doing the best they could

there was no doom and gloom

just the ease of things transpiring in perfect order
